Bridging the gap between treatment and the court system.
Our Mission
With the increase in overdose deaths and drug related offenses across the country, our justice systems are beginning to look at alternatives to incarceration.
Our stakeholders are tired of seeing the revolving door for these individuals in the justice system. The same people are reoffending time after time and the vast majority are reoffending due to untreated addiction or co-occurring disorders. Our county’s correctional facilities are not set up nor funded to provide impactful addiction treatment.
Therefore, our courts are beginning to lean toward addiction treatment as a means of alternative sentencing. That’s where your friends at JUSTICARE Solutions can help. Our people have connected thousands of clients to treatment facilities and have assisted with hundreds of court cases.

Our Process
Upon Acceptance…
Once placement is located and your client is accepted into a program, JUSTICARE will provide documentation of acceptance from the program with an available bed date, a transportation/change of custody letter (if needed), and a synopsis of the program to the court and the attorney. Additionally, an advocacy letter for your client with all relevant information relating to the benefits of treatment for the client as well as the justice system and community. JUSTICARE team members are also available to provide testimony during this phase to advocate treatment for your client.
Upon Approval…
Upon approval from the court, JUSTICARE will provide sober companion transportation to the treatment facility to encourage the client to successfully admit into treatment. This drive time is used to empower your client by providing motivational interviewing techniques and help your client understand what to expect and what is expected from them once they enter treatment. Sober companion transportation is another way to keep your client fully informed and eliminate any surprises prior to admission. We have found that our clients' success rate tends to be higher when we transport as opposed to family or peers.
Upon Admission…
Upon admission into treatment, a letter of admittance will be provided with date of admission and expected date of completion. A discharge summary will be provided once a client graduates from the program. The discharge summary includes a certificate of completion and a summary of the client’s progress and recommendations for aftercare. JUSTICARE staff will also be available to give a report in court about the client’s progress.
JUSTICARE Solutions provides many services to assist your client and help take the workload off the attorney. We do the groundwork, so you don’t have to.
